Hot Off The Press: Miranda Lambert - "Run"
The one and only Miranda Lambert is back with a brand new song called “Run.” Of course, Miranda has always been a strong storyteller in the country music world, and this track is definitely an example of that. “Run” captivates an independent spirit with that classic Miranda Lambert edge, blending her raw emotion with a really ‘big’ sounding song. I hope this is her next really big hit! The music video (below) was just released yesterday.
Album Drop: Kameron Marlowe - Sad Songs For The Soul
Well, the title is pretty self-explanatory. If you’re in the mood for music that really hits hard, Kameron Marlowe just released a new album called Sad Songs For The Soul. Kameron admits he was nervous putting out a full collection of sad song, unsure if it would be different from what fans either were expecting or wanting from him. However, he leaned into the emotional element and delivered an album that’s both deeply personal and relatable. There are ten songs on the record, but there are some standouts like “Hello Whiskey” and “Here Lies The Fool.”
Rising Star Spotlight: Tigirlily Gold - "Forever From Here"
Last week they mailed me a Valentine’s card, so they’ve been on my mind recently, ha! This week’s Rising Star Spotlight is on Tigirlily Gold, and their latest song “Forever From Here.” The duo of sisters have been making some pretty big waves in country music, and this song shows exactly why they are on the rise in popularity. They have fantastic harmonies and the great ability to story tell. This song is a beautifully written tune about love, commitment, and the moments that last a lifetime.
On Your Radar: Josh Ross - "Single Again"
Closing out this week’s lineup is a song that has been making some pretty big movement on the country charts: Josh Ross’ “Single Again.” Josh has been carving out his own space in country music with his mix of rock production and pretty personal lyrics. This is a relatable song that takes a new approach to the post-breakup anthem.
