Hot Off The Press: Morgan Wallen - "I'm A Little Crazy"
Morgan Wallen gave fans two new songs today. My favorite of those being “I’m A Little Crazy,” which is going to be on his upcoming album I’m The Problem, which drops on May 16th. Wallen first shared a clip of the song on Instagram, and the country music world certainly took notice. Dan Smyers from Dan + Shay commented “guy can sing.” Kane Brown responded with “okey dokey then.”
If that’s the kind of reaction it’s getting from his peers, you know this song is something special. It definitely has that classic Wallen feel.
Album Drop: Ryan Hurd - Midwest Rock & Roll
Ryan Hurd is back with his sophomore album Midwest Rock & Roll, and this one is deeply personal for him. Hurd co-wrote all twelve songs, calling it a “coming-of-age album that feels like playing in your first band.” The album blends country storytelling with a rock-y feel. Ryan has been known for his songwriting, and this album is definitely no exception.
Rising Star Spotlight: Chase McDaniel - "Burned Down Heaven"
Chase McDaniel is one of the most exciting new voices in country music. His latest song “Burned Down Heaven” is a must-listen. He is quickly building a name for himself, and it’s largely due to this song!
On Your Radar: Kane Brown - "Backseat Driver"
Kane Brown is back with another hit in the making, “Backseat Driver.” It’s from the perspective of his daughter riding in the backseat. It’s very heartstring-pulling and a really cool theme, and it’s gaining momentum on the country charts!
