13 Cape Cod Breweries and Wineries You Have To Try

Whether you're planning a Cape vacation or just going down for a day trip, the Lushy List has put together a number of Cape Cod breweries and wineries that you just have to try.

It was an unknown monk who once said, "He who drinks beer sleeps well. He who sleeps well cannot sin. He who does not sin goes to heaven. Amen."

You can't argue with that logic, so in the interest of public well-being, I'll be continuing the "Lushy List," a new series highlighting breweries and wineries across the Commonwealth!

This week, we are highlighting Cape Cod. If the snow has you dreaming of a cold IPA next to a brewery fire pit, or if you can't wait to go from sand to Sandwich's Tree House Brewing Company, then this is the list for you! And if you are simply looking for your next great beer, than sit back, crack open a cold one, and begin scrolling.

Claiming the title of "Cape Cod's Original Craft Beer," Cape Cod Beer was founded in 2004. This brewery is open year round and features an indoor taproom and a seasonal outdoor beer garden. Live music is provided by local musicians, and there's even a resident food truck to curb your appetite

Devil's Purse's claim to fame is their Handline Kolsch, which is an American spin on a German ale. In fact, most of their beers are European-inspired in this small brewery that opened in 2015.

The brewery has local distribution, but they also have a rocking 10,000sqft outdoor patio. They have live music, backyard games, and even movie nights!

Barnstable Brewing is open year round. Guests can enjoy the patio during the warmer months. They brew and distribute right on site.

Hog Island Beer Co makes beer that they love and also offer tours. They discovered the location while paddle boarding and the rest is history! They also have live music.

Treehouse Brewing Company has multiple locations and they are all incredible. Their beer is rivaled as one of the best in the country. And their patio view of the water is one of the best in the world.

One of the few wineries on Cape Cod, and they do it right! They also have an outdoor area and many events throughout the year.
