Tricia I am divorced and I really can’t stand my ex husband. He cheated on me with his secretary of all people I knew. Oh, you know how many times we hear of things like this happening? How It’s just like typical. So we have two kids together, but ever since we got divorced, he really hasn’t been present in our children’s lives. Like, you know, maybe for their birthday, he’ll just send a card to them in the mail and there won’t even be any money in it. It’ll just be a card. That’s it? Yeah.
Ayla Brown Oh, yeah. How old are your kids? If you don’t mind me asking, are they, like, 18? And they don’t need presents? Or are they like, six?
Tricia No. One is a one is five.

Tricia Yeah. Because of all of this, I really want to change my last name back to my maiden name, and I want to change my children’s name to that as well. I just. I really want my boys to have a last name that they can be proud of. Hmm. And do you think I’m being too harsh with that by wanting or do you think I’m being reasonable?

Is it confusing for the kids? Do you think that it’s fine for them? They’ll be totally emotionally okay with changing something that they were born with? Is it fair to do to the ex-husband? Is it fair for Tricia to want to do this?
