Should I Tell A Guy At The Gym I Saw A Fungal Infection On His Ass While We Were In The Locker Room?
Kyle was at the gym and noticed something in the locker room. Another guy who was changing near him had a fungal infection on his ass. Kyle had the same fungal infection recently and recognized it. He felt like he should say something, but he felt weird telling the other guy he was looking at his ass while he changed. Is helping this stranger worth the embarrassment of telling him?
Here’s Kyle’s Locker Room Dilemma
Jonathan: And today for panic button, we have Kyle who is panicking about a button of sorts. Hey there. Kyle, what’s going on?
Kyle: I’ve got a situation, right? I was at the gym, and I go pretty regularly. And of course, once you go to the gym, you just change and you get out of there, right?
Jonathan: Yeah.
Kyle: Well, so there was this guy that was across from me in the locker room and I wasn’t really looking or anything, but I noticed something.
Jonathan: Well, you weren’t looking.
Ayla: What did you see? What did you say?
Kyle: Yeah. So on his butt cheeks, there was some weird discoloration. And I think he has a fungal infection.
Ayla: Oh, but you weren’t looking, Kyle. You weren’t looking. Right.
Kyle: Right, right.
Jonathan: It’s very important that you weren’t looking. Yeah. For you. Okay.
Kyle: Yeah. And I had the same thing at one point.
Ayla: A discoloration of your butt?
Jonathan: Maybe I need to know what it is.
Ayla: What? What did you have?
Kyle: Well, I didn’t realize it until my girlfriend pointed it out. And so that’s why I’m wondering, should I tell this guy.
Ayla: What did you have? A fungal infection? Oh, sorry.
Kyle: Yeah, yeah.
Ayla: How do you get one of those?
Jonathan: In my head because I’m stupid, I’m imagining literal mushrooms growing out.
Ayla: Oh, yeah. Google it.
Jonathan: Fungal infection on buttocks.
Ayla: This is why we get in trouble at work.
Jonathan: Oh, God.
Ayla: Hold on. Jonathan, let me look at it.

Ayla: Kyle?
Kyle: Yeah. Hi.
Ayla: I’m sorry you had to go though that.
Jonathan: Even Jim is freaking out about this. Jim has more of a right to freak out the most. Oh, man. I’m going to leave this up by the way.
Ayla: So, you’ve had that fungal infection, so you know that this dude has it as well. So what’s the question, Kyle?
Kyle: I’m wondering if I should tell him. I don’t want to sound gay. Right?. I don’t want to just be like, hey, I was looking at your body.
Jonathan: I mean, valid point, but still.
Ayla: Wouldn’t you have wanted to know at the gym? It took your girlfriend to tell you, but if a guy came up to you and was like, hey, you should get your butt checked out, what would you have thought if someone did that to you? Would you feel uncomfortable?
Kyle: That’s the thing. And I don’t know what to do because I see this. Hey, we’re not friends or anything. But I see him standing there in the locker room and I’m just thinking I need to tell him. But I just don’t want him to feel like.
Ayla: Like you were checking out his butt. You know what? Honestly. But after seeing the photos on Google of a fungal infection on one’s booty. Oh, man. I think you need to.
Jonathan: Like, after the show today, I need to do a Google Trends search to see if the trend search for fungal infection has gone up in Massachusetts.
