When you grow up with live music in the home, chances are you will also dabble. That’s what happened in the Mailhot house, inspiring Brian Mailhot toward a music career. The New Hampshire native has his dad to thank for the influence and encouragement. His father always played in bands, so Brian was bound to get the music bug. Mailhot’s new release “Let’s Get Twisted” is a catchy, thoroughly entertaining summer jam. There are images of beaches, hot summer nights and refreshing Twisted Tea. It’s definitely a party song that will take you away and land you smack dab in the middle of a beach. Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen and Jimmy Buffett would all appreciate this 3 1/2 minute seasonal anthem. Brian doesn’t take himself or the circumstances of this song too seriously. A little humor in music goes a long way.
