The evolution of Lyssa Coulter has rocked this singer/songwriter into a new lane. Coulter has dedicated herself fulltime to music, since she left New England for Nashville several years ago. Lyssa’s latest offering, “CHAOS” has the artist embracing her inner rock star. The song is edgier that her previous releases, and this new lane suits the artist. It’s a dramactic build from the opening notes to the driving chorus, heavily accompanied by soaring guitar riffs and throbbing beats. Coulter continues to explore new roads in her musical journey. With each turn, there’s a world of possibilities for an extraordinary ride.

The Music
Lyssa wrote her lates single, “CHAOS” with a couple of other New England artists, and Local Catch favorites, Molly Mae and Paige Davis. Coulter explained how it came together; “We went into the co-write open minded. Paige started playing something she had been working on previously and once I heard the bones of the song we were able to shape it into something that went along with my story. “CHAOS” is my introduction into country-rock. I had a lot of friends and colleagues mention how the songs I was releasing weren’t “on brand” with other songs I released and my response was “CHAOS”. Life is about finding who you are and especially being in my early-mid 20’s I can confidently say I don’t know who I am yet and I’m still finding who I want to be and that’s okay. At the end of the day I hope that this is what listeners take away from the song.”

Who inspires you: My dad inspires me a lot and pushes me to be the best artist and human I can be. Musical inspirations are the Goo Goo Dolls, Taylor
Swift, Nickelback, Avril Lavigne and Hardy.

If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing: That answer changes every time it’s asked. I’m truly not sure what I’d be doing right now. I was aiming to go to school to be a teacher out of high school.

Most proud moment: My most proud moment would probably be when the music video for my single “Alone With U” was featured on CMT.com

Crazy thing that happened in your music career: I was super fortunate to have played three major country music festivals across the country only two years into my journey.

Other things you like to do: I love painting in my free time along with diving into the makeup and hair world.

Fun facts: I have two different colored eyes and I’m a HUGE Buc-ees fan and High Noon lover. I also am a disney FANATIC.
