Kruser’s Local Catch

Kruser’s Local Catch

If you like your country on the rocks and served in a party atmosphere, you’ll love Whiskey-6. The 6 piece band plays all over New England, and is known for bringing the energy. Meet my Local Catch of the Week, Whiskey-6 from Boston.

The majority of the band members are veteran musicians who’ve played together for a long time. Lead vocalist Livv Tsetsilas is the newest member of the band, but far from a rookie. The talented singer has been at her craft since she was just 11 years old. Livv is also an in-demand National Anthem singer, who you’ve likely seen performing the Star Spangled Banner at Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox and Revolution games.

On-point harmonies provide the electricity to the power ballad, “Life of Memories,” the band’s lastest original offering. Moving guitar licks emote the message, as the vocals soar to express dreams. Whiskey-6 has captured the moment of desire in the song about finding everlasting love.

Find out where to see Whiskey-6 performing their original songs as well as your favorite country and rock hits. Get to know the band, and follow them on social media. Support our local country artists, and buckle up for the Whiskey-6 ride, here.

    • Most proud moment or moments: (Livv) Outside of singing the National Anthem for the last 9 years for the Boston Red Sox, NE Patriots, Boston Celtics, NASCAR, getting into my dream college of Berklee College of Music, etc. those stats undeniably make me proud. But my proudest moment of all, is getting to see the smiles on my family and friends faces while I’m singing up on stage. Whether it’s in front of 75 people at a bar playing an acoustic set, or 75,000 people at Gillette Stadium, I’m not only proud but lucky to have the backbone support system some can only dream of, and it’s something I’ll never take for granted!s faces while I’m singing up on stage. • Crazy thing that happened in your music career: George calling me 5 minutes before I was about to sing the National Anthem at Fenway Park for the Red Sox and giving me the opportunity to perform in a country band with some of the most incredibly hard-working and humble people I’ve ever met who are now lifelong friends of mine.
    • Fun facts:  (Livv) Me personally, I was a 4-season athlete my whole life. 10 years of basketball, 6 years of field hockey, 8 years of lacrosse, 4 years of track & field and I played varsity for all 4 years of high school in basketball and field hockey!!
