Meet Louie Bello from Boston and Nashville
There isn’t a hat Louie Bello can’t wear. Whether it’s a Sox cap and he’s bumpin’ out a soulful pop hit, a Cowboy hat and he’s throwin’ a little twang at you, or a fedora and he’s making you swoon as he croons like Sinatra, Louie is as versatile a performer as they come. Hang on to your hats now, because this Local Catch of the Week has dropped a seriously catchy country gem, and it’s getting a lot of well-deserved attention.
“Ain’t Tryna Be a Cowboy” is the latest from this Boston artist who grew up singing harmonies with friends on the street. His passion for music started at home, listening to whatever his dad was listening to. Since then, Louie has traveled the world performing his music. He’s opened for Eric Paslay, Tyler Farr, Chaka Kahn and many more. His original music has been featured on television and shows ranging from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Real World and Lincoln Heights.
Hats off to a New England favorite, who’s also become a Nashville favorite, as he’s spent the last few years going back and forth. Even though we’ve been hearing a seeing Louie for quite a few years, and he’s certainly been getting national recognition, I’m sure this is just the beginning for this talented and passionate singer and songwriter, who proudly calls Boston home.
