There are planners and then there are people who procrastinate and wait until the last minute for everything. This post is clearly not for the planners. Since Mother's Day is only a few days away, we wanted to help people who may have forgotten OR who may have just been too busy to plan anything in advance.
Since it's probably too late to order a gift for mom, we wanted to give you some ideas of things to do with mom. Events, experiences, places you can take mom where you can spend some quality time with her. Quality time with family is something mothers treasure. Whether you want to go for a picnic, a walk, do a fun photo shoot on one of the local beaches, there is something for everyone. Not to mention, the weather is supposed to be spectacular this weekend with a partly cloudy and 80 degree high on Saturday and a mostly sunny and 68 degree day planned for Sunday. It certainly sounds like getting out around the city will be an amazing idea AND you won't have to break the bank to do it either.
Also, just a reminder: Mother's Day doesn't have to be just about celebrating moms in the traditional sense. Mothers-to-be, moms of pets, stepmothers, moms in heaven etc. all deserve to be celebrated on Sunday. After all, have done so much for us. We invite you to try one of these experiences with mom this weekend and let us know how it was. Remember to take lots of pictures, spoil the mom in your life and most of all, cherish that time you spend with her. Ultimately that is what Mother's Day is all about.
