I Want To Get A Tattoo Of My Girlfriend’s Face On My Arm For Our 6 Month Anniversary
Trent has been dating his girlfriend for six months and he’s in love. She’s beautiful and he has been thinking about getting a tattoo of her face on his arm for awhile now. But his friends think its too soon for him to make such a bold move. Should he go ahead and get the tattoo? How long is long enough to make such a bold move?

Jonathan: For panic button today we have Trent. And well, there’s many ways to show love, I guess.
Danielle: Mm-hmm.
Jonathan: And Trent is going to tell us about one of the ways that he wants to show love. What’s going on there, Trent?
Trent: Hello Sir. I just. I just wanted to thank you for this opportunity because I just want to say that I am very much in love with this girl that I’ve been with for six months. And she’s a beautiful woman. She just makes my day brighter.
Danielle: Sure.
Jonathan: OK. That’s nice. Very sweet.
Trent: I was talking to a friend of mine and I was just trying to figure out something. Because for the past six months it’s been racking my brain. And I’ve been trying to figure out if I should get a tattoo of her face on my arm.
Jonathan: You wanna get a tattoo of her face on your arm? And you guys have been together for six months?
Trent: I mean it’s one of those things where I feel like she’s a beautiful woman.
Jonathan: Yeah, it’d be a beautiful tattoo.
Danielle: In perpetuity.
Jonathan: I don’t think you’d date a girl that would leave you with an ugly tattoo. I mean, do you know somebody that would be able to do the tattoo and render her likeness well enough?
Trent: I think I do. I think I know a few people actually.
Jonathan: A few tattoo artists that do photo realism. That’s kind of hard to pull off. But if you know the guys then.
Trent: I mean I do.
Danielle: You’ve got me confident in that.
Jonathan: Have you got a lot of tattoos or would this be your first tattoo?
Trent: This would be my third, honestly.
Jonathan: Your third tattoo. No one else’s face, right? Like you don’t have your mom or some other girl tattooed on there.
Jonathan: Yeah, I mean, you could get it altered, right?
Danielle: I don’t want to be the pessimist but what if it doesn’t work out?
Trent: What if it doesn’t work out with her? Well, I think it’s gonna work.
Danielle: Yeah.
Jonathan: You have to have faith in that. You couldn’t leave over a tattoo. Not even you Danielle
Danielle: No, not me. I’ve left for less.
Trent: I think it’s one of those things where I feel like I love her and I need to do this.
Jonathan: I’m glad you feel that way about her. And you know what? Let’s leave it up to the audience. We’ll decide if this person changes their body for the rest of their life. We’ll put it in your hands.
Danielle: Yeah, let’s see what they say
Jonathan: Trent wants to get a tattoo of the woman that he’s been dating for. What you said six months, right?
Trent: Yes.
Jonathan: Yeah, he wants to get a tattoo of a woman that he’s been dating for six months on his arm. I don’t know why this matters, but is it your right arm or your left arm.
Trent: Right.
Jonathan: Are you right-handed or left-handed.
Trent: I’m right-handed.
Jonathan: OK. So it’s on his dominant arm, the one that he would probably be using the most. I don’t know why that matters.
Danielle: Ohh it’s gonna be a twist tattoo too. If it’s on the forearm. So she’s gonna look different and you can make her dance.
Jonathan: Ohh you can make her dance. So that’s what Trent wants to know. Should he get a tattoo of a woman’s face on his arm. They’ve only been together for six months, but he’s in love with her.
