TopGolf took to social media this past week to announce plans to open their first permanent location in Massachusetts, and judging from the replies, people are stoked.

  • The Building

According to a press release from TopGolf, the new location will have three levels housing ninety hitting bays. Each bay will feature the company’s technology that allows users to track the distance, speed, and height of the ball.

Along with the hitting bays, the restaurant will feature a great menu, great drinks, an outdoor patio, music, and family-friendly events.

  • The Location

TopGolf will be constructing their facility alongside I-95 in Canton on the site of an old Cumberland Farms distribution center. It will sit about twenty miles from Downtown Boston.

  • When Will It Open?

The venue is expected to open in Late 2023, according to TopGolf.

TopGolf Chief Development Officer Chris Callaway says that TopGolf gets asked “all the time when we’re bringing a Topgolf to the Boston area, so we couldn’t be happier to finally have an answer to that question. We’re thrilled at the opportunity to join the Canton community and can’t thank the town enough for their support along the way.”

  • In The Meantime...

While they construct their new facility in Canton, TopGolf is taking over Fenway Park this weekend and will stay until Wednesday, November 9.
