Dylan bought his wife a gym membership for Christmas. He doesn’t know why she is so angry about it, because she has gained some weight and he was looking out for her and her health.

Jonathan: We’re doing panic button today for panic button we have Dylan. Hey, Dylan.

Dylan: Hey, guys. How’s it going?

Jonathan: Better than it is for you, buddy. So you ruined Christmas. What did you do? Dylan?

Dylan: Okay. So, I love my wife. We’ve been married a long time. I got her a gym membership for Christmas, and it was genuinely a sincere thing. I just want to put this caveat in there. She just had a child a little while ago. And she definitely put on some weight. I’m not not attracted to her.

Jonathan: You’re not not attracted to her. Oh yeah. That’s right guys, I can’t tell you how many hallmark cards and how many poems go like that. I believe Shakespeare wrote that one time. I’m not not attracted to you. Yeah. So obviously just words of love.

Ayla: And beauty.

Dylan: So I am already in trouble. Okay, so here’s the thing. I just wanted to get her in shape. It’s better to be in shape. I’m sort of a gym guy. But here’s the thing. It blew up in my face. Everybody thinks I’m a jerk. That I’m basically calling her fat without telling her that. All of her friends, my family.

Ayla: You are.

Dylan: Well, am I? The thing is, she has gained weight. And I even tell her, look, just come to the gym with me. Give it a try. She’s gonna want to go to the gym. People work out. It’s like there’s hot chicks here. You could see there’s a lot of sweet women.

Jonathan: You told her that? Wait. Oh, God. You go to the gym all the time. You said, But I see hot chicks there all the day. What is your point of telling her that? There’s all these women that go to the gym and they’re in really great shape.

Dylan: Yeah, exactly.

Ayla: As they go to the gym.

Jonathan: Because they go to the gym.

Dylan: Like it would motivate her. It would motivate. Right? Because, do you want me to be there with all these hot chicks?

Ayla: I’m not going to do this. Just for fun, I’m gonna for a second jump on Dylan’s side for one second. Okay. When I lived in Nashville, I had a gym membership that was so cool. Inside the gym, it was huge. There was a movie theater in the gym. You could ride your bike or go on the treadmill and watch whatever movie they’re playing. It was worth the money. I wanted to go to the gym. It would be a really cool gift if if my husband bought me a membership to a place like that, a fancy gym, you know what I mean?

Dylan: Where it would be worth it.

Ayla: And I could do activities and Zumba and biking like the whole thing. Did you get her a membership like that? Is that the type of a gym membership that you have? Because that actually is a really nice gift for someone post baby or not. I would have enjoyed that.

Dylan: No. It’s not that at all.

Jonathan: All right, so I guess, Dylan, your point is you didn’t do anything wrong. You were just trying to help her out, and she took it the wrong way.

Dylan: I don’t know why I’m getting all the flack. I’m looking out for her health. Looking out for her looks. I’m looking out for our relationship. I’m looking out for stuff. And I’m being treated like a bad guy. If I put on weight, I want somebody to go, hey yo, head to the gym. And it’s just a thing. I don’t know, it’s like, you know the baseline.

Ayla: You go to an attitude camp. Forget your workout camps.

Jonathan: I think what Dylan did was noble. And he threw himself on the sword for his relationship. And I can’t keep this going. Dylan. You suck
