In Case You Were Ready For Summer to End, This Store Has Christmas Stuff Out
You’re probably tired of summer’s unbearably hot temperatures, but are you already in the holiday spirit? It seems a little extreme, but a store in London has completely bypassed back to school season, skipped Halloween, and fast forwarded right to Christmas.
Though the holiday may be months away, Selfridges in London is fully ready for the season.
Starting September 4th you can buy ornaments, wrapping paper, and cards in anticipation of the holidays.
While this may seem a little odd considering the current humidity levels and month we’re in, here are a few perks to starting Christmas WAY in advance:
- If everyone gets on board with this Christmas-in-August trend, maybe this means we can drink peppermint lattes, watch Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, and eat Christmas cookies a whole lot sooner.
- If you start buying wrapping paper and ornaments now, you’re knocking off part of your “to do” list way in advance, meaning your holiday stress levels will be decreased this year.
- It’s pretty hard to have a bad day at work when you walk into a store that’s already filled with holiday cheer.
We have to admit though, we’re pretty into Halloween and Thanksgiving, so we’re not *quite* ready to gloss right over those days and head straight to the holidays yet.
