Kane Brown’s One Request At His Shows
You’ve made it to superstar status… Now, you get to reap the benefits of demands!
Musicians have something called a “rider,” which is a list of their requirements for the show at the venue they will be playing. It usually includes security, lighting, backstage and nutritional requests. Some artists, however, are infamous for their ridiculous demands. Kanye West, known for outrageous statements, is not surprisingly known for his demands. Rumor is he has asked for the carpet to be ironed, because he doesn’t like bumpy carpeting, among many other demands.
Not long ago, it was leaked that The Rolling Stones had requested butlers at their demand, 24 hours a day. And apparently, they also included in the rider a set of written instructions on how to use the electronics in their hotel rooms. Not a shocker considering they are all over 70.
Divas demand more! Mariah Carey, famous for her diva-ness reportedly demands bottles of vitamin water for her dogs to bathe in! But wait there’s more… She has also been said to request an attendant who will throw away her chewing gum. Her already-been-chewed chewing gum. You can’t make this stuff up.
It was refreshing to hear that down-to-earth country superstar Kane Brown has merely one request… whiskey! On a recent promotional tour stop in NYC, Kane revealed that the one thing he asks for is Jameson Irish Whiskey.
Kane has plenty to toast to with his Jameson these days, as he celebrates having the biggest album in the country! Brown is number one on the country album chart, and for the first time he has taken the number one spot on the Billboard 200, and all-genre album chart!
