1. Jamaica Pond Parkrun 5k
Every weekend Parkrun hosts a free, timed 5k at Jamaica Pond! Run along the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University and enjoy the fall views. It’s a great way to start off your weekend. All ages, abilities and paces are welcomed. After the run join Park run for coffee at City Feed & Supply on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain. Register here.

2. Rolindale Farmers Market
Every weekend the Roslindale Farmers Market has live music and activities for children. This farmers market is where residents, businesses and farm fresh food come together. This farmers market is open every Saturday from now through November in Adams Park.

3. Methuen Day
With live music, over 80 vendors, entertainment and even a parade, Methuen Day is the place to be this Saturday. You can even get your picture taken with the 2018 Words Series Trophy. 4. Cape Cod Beach Cleanup with the Surfrider Foundation
This Saturday make your way down to Cape Cod to take part in the ongoing efforts to clean up our beaches in the Cape Cod Coastsweep. 5. Boston Food Truck Festival
Featuring 40 food trucks, a beer garden, local artisans, live music and kids activities, the Boston Food Truck Festival brings together the area’s top food trucks at the Rose Kennedy Greenway. There will be plenty to do and eat, so come hungry!

6. Downtown Framingham Oktoberfest
This Saturday celebrate Oktoberfest in Framingham’s downtown district! Enjoy live music and performances on the downtown common while you shop around on City Hall’s Memorial Plaza. Find refreshments at the traditional Oktoberfest beer garden in Framingham’s Historic Downtown Depot.

8. Quincy’s 3rd Annual Food Truck & Music Festival
With fun for the whole family, Quincy’s 3rd annual Food Truck & Music Festival will be held this Saturday on Coddington Street. Hosted by Mayor Thomas P. Koch this festival continues to grow each year. This year’s festival features over 20 food trucks and family-friendly entertainment!

9. Cheeky Monkey Octoberfest
This Saturday Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co. is hosting Octoberfest. This 21+ no cover event features live entertainment, themed food and of course beer! There will even be a Stein Hoisting competition.
