Decorating Early Makes You Happy; Boston’s Christmas Tree Arrives Today
A new study shows that decorating for the holidays early actual makes you happier and that’s good because Boston’s Christmas tree arrives TODAY!
So it’s time to put away the decorative spooky spiders and break out the figgy pudding!
Boston’s 65-foot Christmas tree is set to arrive in Faneuil Hall today around 4pm. This year the tree comes to us from Wallkill, NY – which is in Orange County (though not the same one as those wacky housewives) and is a Norway spruce.
The theme of this year’s celebration is “Blink!” The tree will be flashing it’s festive lights to classic holiday hits like “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Johnny Mathis and… of course… Mariah Carey “All I Want For Christmas Is You” (you can’t escape it).
There will be a lighting ceremony on December 3rd and there will be synchronized light/music shows every half hour starting at 4:30p December 3rd and running through New Years Day.
