TD Garden Lights Up in Purple & Gold To Honor Kobe Bryant After Tragedy
Kobe Bryant played a major role in the storied rivalry between the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers. In the wake of the tragedy that took the lives of Bryant, his 13 year-old daughter, and 7 others, the TD Garden has joined in on paying tribute and showing respect and love by turning the lights on it’s escalators purple and the lights on the Garden itself purple and gold, along with a sign honoring the five-time NBA champion.
