Patriots nation is breathing a collective sigh of relief this morning, after hearing what owner Robert Kraft told TMZ Sports. Kraft was reportedly crossing the street to hop into his car in NYC yesterday, when approached by the tabloid news outlet.
The words exchanged were as follows, according to TMZ:
Seriously, with the Alex Cora scandal, Edelman’s bad behavior, and the Pats shaky season, and the uncertainty of the future, without Tom Brady, or any concrete back-up plans… this is the kool-aid we really needed to drink.
And, yes, they are just words, but these words at least give us some hope.
I’ll leave it at that.
