Girl Scouts Donating Cookies To Medical Staff To Help “Put a Smile On Their Face”
Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England is unable to sell their cookies as coronavirus concerns continue to rise across the globe so they’ve decided to do something sweeter than a Thin Mint. They plan to donate more than 2,000 packages of cookies to local organizations “with the hope of putting a smile on the faces of those who have been impacted and the medical staff who are working tirelessly to treat those who are ill.”
The Girl Scouts have been ordered to suspend all activities including meetings, events, and programs through April 3rd (for now) and cookie sales are tentatively set to start back up on April 4th.
