Pillsbury Changing Refrigerated Cookie Dough Formula to be Safe to Eat Raw or Baked
If you’re like me when you’re making cookies you like to sneak a little taste of the cookie dough, only to feel overcome with guilt because you’re not supposed to eat raw cookie dough because it’s not safe!
Well Pillsbury is trying to eliminate that feeling of guilt forever by changing their formula for refrigerated cookie dough so it’s safe to eat baked or raw!
Instagrammer @Candyhunting posted the proof:
Thanks to heat-treated flour and pasteurized eggs to kill off possible foodborne pathogens, all of Pillsbury’s cookie dough and brownie dough will be safe to eat either way by the end of summer 2020. Nom nom nom nom.
