There’s a Limited Edition Marylou’s Beer – And Proceeds Go To Charity
Hanover brewery Burke’s Alewerks is teaming up with South Shore-based Marylou’s Coffee to brew up a limited-edition beer – Marylou’s Mocha Porter.
Marylou’s announced the collaboration on its Instagram page, posting that it had donated eight pounds of its Famous Blend coffee beans to Burke’s, which were used in the brew.
A portion of the proceeds from the beer sales will go to Pink Boots Society,a non-profit organization with international membership which supports women working in the brewing profession, especially in creating craft beer.
The beer will only be available through online ordering on the Burke’s Alewerks website. You can order beginning Friday at 6pm. Curbside pickup can be done at the brewery Saturday and Sunday.
