World’s Last Remaining Blockbuster Converted Into An Airbnb
There is one single remaining Blockbuster Video open in all of the world – in Bend, Oregon. It’s still functional and profitable and it’s celebrating the end of summer and all of the support it has received from the community there by becoming an Airbnb listing… for 3 days only!!
The 3 people who get the reservations will get the keys to the store and will be able to watch movies upon movies upon movies in a makeshift living room complete with a pull-out couch, bean bags, lamps and pillows. They’ll also be provided with free pizza, Pepsi, candy and popcorn – plus whatever else they want to bring *ehem, wine, ehem*.
After the event, the Blockbuster Airbnb will transfer back to the only still-operating Blockbuster Video in all of the world. Ohhhh nostalgia…..
