Tom Brady on Leaving The Patriots: “I am so happy with the decision I made.”
In an interview published yesterday by NBC Sports Tom Brady says of his decision to leave New England for Tampa: “I am so happy with the decision I made.”
“I made a decision to do something different. It was a very thoughtful decision. It wasn’t a spur of the moment thing. Really since the moment I got here they’ve embraced me. They’ve embraced me with the opportunity to go and lead the team—that’s a big responsibility for me.” “When I added it up, Tampa seemed like it was a great opportunity. If I think back at the decision, I am so happy with the decision I made.”
But he also expressed tons of gratitude and respect for New England and The Patriots organization: “I spent 20 years in one place,” Brady added. “I left on great terms, and I have so much respect for everybody in that organization.”
