And Just Like That…Sex & The City Is Back!
Without Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha, I would have never come to love a cosmo, or know who Manolo Blahnik is. Can you imagine a life without Mr. Big, sweet Steve, Stanford or model Smith?
And just like that… our favorite New York City girls and friends are back. Well, most of them. Samantha (Kim Cattrall) wanted no part of it. It’s been a minute. The bffs of Sex and the City were last seen on our screens in 2010.
The band is back together and now on HBO Max. The reboot will follow Carrie Bradshaw, now in her 50s, and her friends in the city that doesn’t sleep and see what the trio has been up to in the last 11 years. There will be new cast members, plot twists, and real life events taking into consideration.
Lead actress Sara Jessica Parker told Vanity Fair, “I think that Cynthia, Kristin, and I are all excited about the time that has passed. You know, who are they in this world now? Have they adapted? What part have they played? Where have they fallen short as women, as friends, and how are they finding their way?”

The new episodes of And Just Like That… debut on HBO Max weekly. Set your alarm for Thursdays at on at 3:00am. What?? Yup. Set the DVR or TiVo, more like it. So, I guess, Fridays are cosmos nights.
The new series kicked off with a 2 hour episode at 3am this morning. After that a half hour show will air each week until the miniseries finale, which will take place in February.

Where to watch:
The new series can be found exclusively on HBO Max. If you don’t have it, it’ll cost you $10 a month with ads, $15 without. No word on if it will eventually show on HBO.
I’m not crying. You’re crying.
