This year the Boston Seaport is hosting numerous Pride Month events. Free gatherings, like the parade on June 10, will take place around the city throughout the month. In addition, local retail partners have set up special offerings that will align directly to relative charities.
Let’s look at what is already solidified as we head into June. If you are looking for ways to participate, here are some happenings in the Seaport to be aware of.
AT&T + The Trevor Project
AT&T has teamed up with the Trevor Project to raise funds for suicide prevention within the LGBTQ community. All month at the Seaport location, if you mention “The Trevor Project” at this AT&T location when purchasing a smartphone, the company will donate $500 to the charity.
Flight Club + Boston Alliance of LGBTQ
There will be a drink special on the menu at the Seaport’s dart establishment, Flight Club. Order the “Pride Cocktail” and 100% of the proceeds will go to Boston Alliance of LGBTQ+ Youth – a youth-led, adult-supported organization committed to social justice, and creating, sustaining, and advocating for programs, policies, and services for the LGBTQ+ youth community.
Tito’s + Local LGBTQIA
On Saturday June 10 at Gather, Tito’s Vodka will be onsite for a special event. “Lady Gaga x Pride Brunch” will take place from 10 am-3 pm. During this, Gather will offer a Charity cocktail where purchases will be matched by Tito’s in support of a local LGBTQIA+ non-profit organization. Furthermore, this themed brunch includes only blasting Lady Gaga music and serving Lady Gaga-themed items. “Love has NO labels. Come as you are. Show your pride. Brunch is for everyone, Baby, you were born this way,” their promotion explains.
Other Notable Events
On June 11, Soul Cycle will host a pride event at the Rocks at Harbor Way. This will take place from at 12 pm. Lastly, all month at the Envoy Hotel on Sleeper Street, you will get a free bottle of Champagne when selecting the “Pride and Joy” package upon making a reservation.
