Experience Island Life On A Salem Harbor Tiki Bar Boat
Jimmy Buffet would definitely approve. Cue “Margaritaville” and get yourself a ticket to experience island life on a Salem Harbor Tiki bar boat. Start lining up your Spring fun calendar events. This sure sounds like a good one.
Tickets went on sale in January for the “First Tiki Boat to operated in the Massachusetts, Boston, North Shore region,” according to their website. There’s a bar stool calling your name at Tiki Hut Boats to enjoy a 90 minute cruise around Salem Harbor.
Who Needs Palm Trees?
I first learned about this floating tropical hut on water from Only in Your State/Massachusetts. Of course, I am intrigued! I mean our “tropical weather” in New England is generally limited to a couple of weeks. There are no palm trees here, but this expedition seems like a dreamy escape steeped in memories of lazy summer days or island vacations. It’s all about the tropical vibe.
Located in the historic city of Salem, Massachusetts, The Tiki Hut Boat is almost ready to set sail. The cruises run from May 4 until October 31. While drifting on calm waters with the picture perfect port of Salem in view, you can sip on frozen drinks, cold beers, wine and all kinds of concoctions while listening to music. It sounds out of this world…literally. I would imaging you will feel like you are thousands of miles away, transported to a Caribbean paradise.
Tickets
Because this Salem Harbor tiki bar boat has limited capacity, they recommend making reservations well in advance. They have a 6 passenger per cruise limit. You will never feel over crowded on this cruise. There are several choices of cruises for passengers who are 21 and older. Tickets start at $50 per person.
Are you ready to board the floating hut of leisure, laughs and libations? I am! I’ve got to dig out my Hawaiian shirt and cue up my Kenny Chesney playlist in preparation for this tropical experience right here in Massachusetts. Who knew?
