Red Daisy Revival is a duo featuring Woodstock New Hampshire’s Morgan Clark, and her partner, Nashville’s Daniel Kassel. The duo/couple met in 2019 in Nashville. At the time, Morgan was playing a show. She shared, ” We locked eyes from crowd to stage and it was love at first sight. We found out we had a lot in common, after introducing ourselves, such as, we both played music. We both had cats, and we both had a huge love for Trains!”
Now, the couple both work for The Hobo Railroad in Lincoln, New Hampshire. Daniel is conductor and Morgan helps out with marketing and merchandising. Right now is a very busy time of year, as they are running Santa Trains and Journey To The North Pole Trains every weekend through Christmas. The trains are hosted by the Literary Foundation. They love their work.
Morgan and Daniel moved to New Hampshire in May of 2020. They came up with their name because Morgan’s favorite flower is a daisy, and Daniel’s favorite color is red. And to honor Morgan’s father, who sadly passed 2 years ago, they came up with “Revival,” as a tribute to her dad’s favorite band, Creedence Clearwater Revival. The couple recently got engaged! Daniel proposed on the Hobo Railroad in September. How romantic is that?
Red Daisy Revival’s recently released new song, called “Wildflower.” It showcases their unique sound, which the duo describes as “eclectic new country.” Ironically, this new sound conjures up retro vibes. It’s almost a hippy country mood. It feels like a free flowing, breezy, ebb and flow musical ride. The lyrical visuals are strong, and the symbolism is not lost. You can’t help but feel good after listening to RDR’s “Wildflower.” I can’t wait to hear what will bloom next for this talented twosome.
