This Christmas Wine Train Will Get You In The Holiday Spirit
Christmas is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate the holiday then to climb on board a wine train!Every year in Napa Valley, California there’s an annual Santa Train. Now this isn’t your kid’s St. Nick choo-choo, this one is for adults 21 years and over. Granted, children are welcome, but the real fun is for the grown-ups.
Travel + Leisure notes this “scenic journey combines wine and Christmas festivities from November 18 through December 29.” Those who want to climb on board can expect to go through downtown Napa and will end up in Santa’s workshop in the North Pole.
Don’t worry, you won’t actually leave this country! Their version of the “North Pole” is actually a decorated train station. Both customers big and small can expect to join in on sing-alongs and drink hot chocolate with fresh baked cookies says Refiniery 29.
Those passengers who are not 21 and over, will be able to meet Santa at his workshop as well as enjoy “surprises like toys and ornaments” says Travel + Leisure. Kids will also have the ability to write letters to Santa as Mommy and Daddy are sipping on wine.
Customers can bring their own wine or can purchase a bottle on the train. You can carry on your own wine for a $15 corkage fee.
The vintage rail cars and perfectly placed Christmas decorations will make you feel like you’re stuck in the Polar Express!
