USA Today Names This New England Town The Best Ski Town
Many of us won’t be able to go skiing this winter, with limited access available, people allowed on the slopes and resorts open.
In the meantime, we can give a shout out to the ski towns that have earned special recognition by USA Today readers.
So, what makes a great ski town? According to the popular daily publication, it could be convenient access to the slopes for some, “for others, maybe it’s the variety of restaurants, bars, shops and accommodations. Yet others might gravitate toward a small town vibe or historic atmosphere.”
The top 10 winners in the category Best Ski Town are:
- North Conway, New Hampshire
- Rossland, British Columbia
- Bethel, Maine
- Stowe, Vermont
- Banff, Alberta
- Aspen, Colorado
- Breckenridge, Colorado
- Alta, Utah
- Jackson Hole, Wyoming
- Nelson, British Columbia
Congrats to North Conway for this prestigious honor!
