National Parks Service Now Offers A New App For All Parks In One Hub
Ahhh, the great outdoors!
We’ve certainly seen a renewed love of the great outdoors during the pandemic. Being cooped up has driven us outside; to hiking, walking and discovering places we’ve never been, and places we’ve been neglecting to visit. It’s become our weekend entertainment, clearly evident by the cars at the side of the road and the unusually crowded trails.
Navigating parks can be challenging, and yes, there are apps for individual parks that do help. But now you can go anywhere, any state, any park and find some helpful hints about these parks all on one app.
Yup, there’s an app for that.
The National Parks Service (NPS) app is here. And although, it is a work in progress, it’s off to a great start.
Wouldn’t it be nice to know how much the entrance fee is before you go, or maybe know what the parking situation is, and if there are lodging options? Is it dog friendly? What are the best trails?
Apparently the new NPS app has the answers.
