A Million Dollar Lottery Ticket Spent an Hour on a Parking Lot Ground
A parking lot is no place for a $1M lottery ticket!
Could you imagine winning a $1,178,746 lottery jackpot and misplacing the ticket? According to upi.com, Tennessee native Nick Slatten bought a ticket from the Village Market and matched all of the winning numbers. After realizing he won, he stated,
“I was stunned. I couldn’t believe it. I can’t express it. It was something else.”
Once over the initial shock, he went to show his fiancé at work then had to run an errand at an auto shop. Slatten realized the ticket was missing about a half hour after leaving the shop. He quickly went back to retrace his steps in hopes of finding the ticket. Luckily, he spotted the winnings on the ground right next to a parked vehicle.
Someone had stepped right over the million dollar ticket without realizing it but it is safe back in its original hands now!
