Noah Hudson grew up in the picturesque New Hampshire town of Moultonborough, He was surrounded by Lake Winnepasaukee, at the foothills of the Ossipee Mountains, and home to the famous Castle In The Clouds. Sounds like a dream. And there was a lot of dreaming going on there for Noah, who’s head was in the clouds with visions of a music career. But, his drive at a very young age, would take his dreams straight to Nashville.

Fast forward, and today Noah is making music in Nashville and living out some of his dreams. He recently graduated from Belmont University in Nashville. His days are filled with writing, performing and making some great music. His latest offering is a still unreleased song called “Passed You.” It’s cleverly written, and his vocals are strong, emoting passion as they build from a soft, reflective tone, to a rock-tinged intensity. Think Jordan Davis meets Luke Combs. This guy has the goods, and with each song, the goods get better.

Be sure to check out the song, here, and follow Noah on social media (links below), to keep up with his music, gigs, and life. Thanks for supporting our New England singer/songwriters!

You are getting a first listen to Noah’s brand new single, before it’s even released. He just recorded this and is sharing with you! He told me “The idea for ‘Passed You’ came from the double meaning with Passed You and Past You. My friend Matt Mulhare and I wrote this song from the perspective that someone passed a girl they used to date while driving one day and it brought back all the feelings from when they were together, i.e. “somehow I’m back to what I went through from just having passed you (but also past you).”

Listen here! Just hit that arrow and enjoy.

  • Get To Know Noah

    • Grew up in: Moultonborough, NH
    • Now lives in: Nashville, TN
    • Current single: “Passed You” -still unreleased, but it’s one of my favorites to play out at shows right now.
    • What lead you to music: I don’t remember this, but apparently when I was three years old, I told my mom, “I want to play guitar, and I want to play it loud!” From there, the rest is history. I started taking lessons when my hands were big enough to wrap around the neck of a guitar.
    • How old when you started: Around 6 years old.
    • Instruments played: Guitar, Saxophone (through high school band), and a bit of piano by ear.
    • How would you describe your sound: I’d describe my sound as pop/rock country for the most part. I draw on inspiration from a lot of different genres so it can be tough to lock down.
    • Who inspires you: I’m constantly inspired by the “greats” in country music songwriting right now. You have Ashley Gorley, Nicolle Galyon, HARDY, Ernest, Hunter Phelps, and the list goes on and on.
    • Dream duet partner: I’m not sure if I could lock down one. I would just hope to sing a duet with someone whose voice would blend well with mine. I think that’s what makes a great duet.
    • All- time favorite country song:  I can never lock down just one favorite song and it always changes so I’ll give you a current one. Right now the song I’ve had on repeat most often is probably the mockingbird and THE CROW by HARDY.
    • First country concert: I believe my first country concert was Old Dominion.
    • What songs do you like now on Country 102.5: Some of my favorites spinning right now are “You Proof “by Morgan Wallen, “What my World Spins Around” by Jordan Davis, and “Son of a Sinner” by Jelly Roll.
    • If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing: If I wasn’t a musician I’d probably still be writing songs and working as a Realtor which is kind of what I’m doing right now. I’m currently a full time songwriter and Realtor.
    • Day Job: Real Estate Agent here in Nashville
    • Crazy thing that happened in your music career: I won a radio contest in North Conway, NH when I was 18 and got to play for a crowd of 5,000 people with just my guitar and my voice for the towns’ July 4th concert.
    • Famous encounters: I run into artists and writers here in Nashville all the time and everyone acts pretty normal for the most part, which is just another one of the reasons I love this town.
    • Other things you like to do: I love to golf, go out on the boat in the summer, hike, watch sports with friends, etc.
    • Mantra: Life is what you make it so if you want something just go for it. You can’t fail if you never stop trying.
