According to Wallet Hub, each metric is then graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable living conditions. Each category is given a total of 20 points of a score and then added all together to determine its ranking. There is so much more data that goes into it, but these are the main ones and a lot of research went into the findings.
Believe it or not, this is the second year in a row Massachusetts has landed on top of Wallet Hub’s rankings of the #1 state to live in the country. New Hampshire ranked third.
