There's no doubt that Boston LOVES country music. And we all have a special moment where we heard country music for the first time. For me, it was the song, "Mayberry" by Rascal Flatts. It was 2004. My best friend burned it on a CD for me, and my life was changed for the better after hearing that song.

And it's no secret that country artists LOVE playing in Boston. Kenny Chesney's No Shoes Nation was born in Foxboro. Dan & Shay say Boston is their favorite place to perform. Kane Brown loves the Boston Celtics. Why do they love Boston so much? Because New Englanders are passionate! We aren't afraid to love what we love and love it hard. When our favorite country artists come to town we make sure to support them. And ANY excuse we have to do a pre-concert tailgate, we will take advantage of that.

So here's a list of Boston's top 10 favorite country artists based on the demand for their tickets, their relationship with the fans, and amount of tickets sold to their concerts.

BOSTON'S FAVORITE COUNTRY ARTISTS RANKED

10. Dan + Shay

Dan + Shay(Beasley Media Group)

Dan + Shay has built a slow and steady relationship with the fans in Boston. They performed only a few years ago at the House of Blues, but they finally played a show at the TD Garden in December of 2021. They're only going up from here!

9. Eric Church

Eric Church has visited the SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH MULTIPLE years in a row. He will not be coming back to the area in 2023, but New England loves him regardless. And he really does put his "Heart And Soul" into each show.

8. Kane Brown

There's no doubt that Kane loves the Celtics and loves performing in Boston. Like Dan + Shay, Kane started out performing in smaller clubs, but he played the TD Garden in 2021 and will be moving to Fenway Park in June of 2023.

7. Jimmy Buffett

Is Jimmy country or not? That will always be up for debate. But either way, the Parrotheads love him and can't wait for him to visit Boston.

6. Luke Combs

I've been to a lot of concerts, and none were as electric as the crowd AND the music at the Luke Combs show at the TD Garden. My prediction is that if Luke announced multiple dates in Boston, they would sell out each and every time.

5. Zac Brown Band

Zac Brown Band has become a staple at Fenway Park and fans love having him return each and every year!

4. Shania Twain

Let's Go Girls... Shania Twain coming to Xfinity in July is the most exciting thin since sliced bread. We can't wait to welcome her back to touring and to Massachusetts!

3. Morgan Wallen

Morgan Wallen

Never in my life have I seen excitement for tickets like I have for Morgan Wallen. He is performing at Fenway Park not once, not twice, but now THREE Times because the demand for his tickets are so big. August can't come soon enough!

2. Taylor Swift

42nd Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards All-Star Jam

Guys, it's Taylor Swift. This queen has been selling out stadiums around the world, including Gillette Stadium MULTIPLE TIMES. She would be #1, but there's someone else who gets that title.

1. Kenny Chesney

KENNY CHESNEY! No Shoes Nation was born here. He vacations in New England. He always ends his stadium tours in Foxboro. In addition to the incredible amount of hit songs he has, Boston loves Kenny and he loves us. That's why he wins Boston's favorite country artist.

Ayla Brown has been an on-air morning show host with Country 102.5 since 2018. Before taking this once-in-a-lifetime job, Ayla was (and still is) a country music singer.
