Finally.
Red Sox fans have something to be excited about. There has been so much disappoint with the moves (and the lack there of) in the front office with players leaving and not getting contracts they deserve. Yesterday was a good day. Yesterday, the Red Sox opened their wallets, and we opened our hearts.

The Red Sox reportedly signed our left-handed slugger and star third baseman, Rafael Devers to a huge extension. According to ESPN, The Sox locked up Devers by agreeing to an 11-year, $331 million extension. This move keeps one face of the franchise in tack, and keeps fans in seats. Needless to say, the Twitterverse was all over the good news. Everyone from former teammates to analysts and fans had something to tweet about it.
