David Ortiz Stops By To Convince Ayla Brown To Try His Cannabis On Air

David Ortiz, aka "Big Papi," surprised the Boston country music fans with an in-studio and on-air appearance on Country 102.5! The legendary Boston Red Sox slugger didn't come to discuss baseball, though. He sat down with me to talk about his latest venture, a cannabis company aptly named "Papi Cannabis." Big Papi has always been known for his larger-than-life personality and charming charisma. And I tried to get him to convince people like myself and my mother to try his cannabis. After all, we are on the more conservative side of things. Consuming cannabis products is NOT something we do on the weekends if you know what I mean. David made a very convincing argument on why we should all try his product though! He noted that his father was diagnosed with cancer and the gummies really helped him with the pain. You could see his face light up when he spoke about his father. It was beautiful to see a grown man talk about his dad like that. Big Papi Loves Cannabis And Country Music! In a surprising twist, Big Papi revealed his deep love for country music. He shared how his former Red Sox teammates always played country music inside the player's locker room. And that was one of the reasons he loved country music. He then gave a huge shoutout to the listeners of Country 102.5, which we loved to hear. I didn't ask him who his favorite country artist was, but if we had to guess, who do we think it would be? Kenny Chesney? Carrie Underwood? Maybe Garth Brooks! Either way, I love to hear that he enjoys the sweet sounds of country music.
