Active military and veterans will likely need proof of service. Bring your military ID, discharge papers, VA cards, veteran organization membership cards, or in some cases Military uniforms will also serve as proof of service.
Veterans Day is a chance for all of us to show our appreciation. With the help of CBS News Boston, I'm sharing a few restaurants suggestions that are offering deals as a way to say thank you. Be sure to call ahead to make sure the deals are indeed available. Check it all out below. And THANK YOU to all those who are serving and have served these United States of America!

Chili's says thank you with a FREE meal, from a select menu, specifically for Veterans and those currently serving.
