Celebrate National Napping Day Today With A Snooze. It’s Good For You!
Of course it’s National Napping Day. What other whimsical holiday would follow Daylight Savings, where we just lost an hour of sleep?
So, take advantage! Take a nap and reap the benefits.
According to Dr. William Anthony, a Boston University professor, the majority of Americans are sleep-deprived even, without Daylight Saving Time. He and his wife, Camille set out to take the stigma out of napping in America, back in 1999, and raise awareness about the health benefits of quality sleep.
Benefits range from heart health to significantly increasing your alertness, from boosting creativity to helping to keep your healthy diet in check.
