Luke Combs earned the second most nominations with 6 in total, including the highly coveted Entertainer of the Year Award. BTW, nice to see 2 women in this category, finally!
Combs posted on Instagram: “Wow. What a morning. Thank you to the @cma for the consideration. Thank you to my team, my band and crew, my family, my beautiful wife @nicohocking, and to the fans, we miss you. None of this is possible without any of you. WE did this. THANK YOU!”
It’s been a day for Dan+Shay. Dan Smyers earned 6 nominations, including 4 he shares with bandmate Shay Mooney, and 3 with Justin Beiber for the crossover hit, “10,000 hours.” Smyers scored individual noms for his work as a producer on the song.

To @hozier for amplifying this song even higher with your otherworldly talent & to @mirandalambert for having me on this stellar lineup. To @cma ! Oh, & THE WOMEN CLEANED UP THIS YEAR. ????”

As Maren pointed out, “The women cleaned up this year!” Probably none more excited than Ashley McBryde who always has a way with words.
