WINDSOR, ENGLAND - APRIL 11: Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh react as they bid farewell to Irish President Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina (not pictured) at the end of their official visit at Windsor Castle on April 11, 2014 in Windsor, United Kingdom. Ireland's Michael D. Higgins is making the first state visit by a president of the republic since it gained independence from neighbouring Britain. The visit comes three years after Queen Elizabeth II made a groundbreaking trip to the republic, which helped to heal deep-rooted unease and put British-Irish relations on a new footing. The Queen of Beers

95-year-old Queen Elizabeth is brewing her own beer. Rumor is that the queen is known to knock back a few before bed every night, but now she will finally have her own brand of beer.

At the royal estate in Sandringham, the Queen has a garden that will be used to brew her own original IPA.

This isn’t the Queen’s first time dabbling in alcohol production. Last year she released her own gin, which she says is equally good for drinking and cleaning jewelry.

In 1967, John “Chick” Donahue went on what is considered “the greatest beer run ever”

At 26 years old, he and some friends were in New York City and came up with the idea of smuggling beer into Vietnam to support the US soldiers stationed there

His story was so crazy he eventually wrote a book about it, titled “The Greatest Beer Run Ever: A Memoir of Friendship, Loyalty and War”

And now the book is being turned into a movie. And Zac Efron, Russell Crow, and even Bill Murray are being rumored to star in it
