Natasha is pretty sure her neighbor is cheating after she spotted her with a man that’s not her husband at a neighborhood party. But her husband is friends with the cheating woman’s husband, so she’s not sure if she should say anything to him about it. Is it any of your business if your neighbor is cheating?
Ayla Brown: And good morning, Natasha. Thank you for calling in to ask Ayla Brown. I’m really excited and kind of on the edge of my seat to hear what happened at a neighborhood little cookout that you guys had.
Natasha: Good morning. So I just have a little scenario that I could use some help with. We had a neighborhood block party the other day and, you know, all the friends are out and everyone kind of knows each other pretty well. And, you know, a neighbor, her kid came up to me like, hey, you know, my daddy’s not here and he’s sick.
Ayla Brown: That’s interesting. So just a little random girl who lives in the neighborhood. You know who she is, right? It’s a neighbors child. Okay.
Natasha: I know her mom quite well. I see her around and I see the dad, but she brought a childhood friend with her who is around her husband’s age. Okay.
Ayla Brown: Is it a guy or girl?
Natasha: It’s a guy.
Ayla Brown: Okay, So. Mm hmm
Natasha: Yeah. And her husband, who is apparently sick is a friend of my husband. And I’m just not sure if I believe the relationship, the childhood friend thing. Like where is your husband?
Ayla Brown: Okay, So is your gut saying that that’s not a childhood friend and it’s someone else? It’s your female neighbor cheating on her husband. Is that what you’re saying?
Natasha: That’s kind of what it felt like. But would she really have the audacity to bring her lover to a neighborhood event where we know?
Ayla Brown: Okay, let’s talk about the vibe then. I mean, was there a certain vibe that was being set off or did something happen where you saw them interacting in a certain way that made you think that because people can be friends with childhood friends, You know that, right?
Natasha: Of course. It’s like I have my male friends, too, but she had lip gloss on and she kind of was twirling her hair a little bit, not like, super ostentatious, but I’m a woman. I know what it looks like when you’re trying to get attention from a man. And it was just a little suspicious.
