Blake Shelton says he may never release another album.
Former 2015 Bachelor Chris Soles was supposed to be in court in Iowa yesterday after pleading guilty to leaving the scene of an accident in 2018. His Chevy pickup truck rear ended a tractor last year and although he called 911, he then left the scene of the accident and the tractor driver died. Soles’ lawyer was in court yesterday to try once more to get the charges tossed, but he only succeeded in getting the case postponed.
Carrie Underwood was wearing a very expensive ring on the finale of American Idol on Sunday night. She was there to sing “Southbound”, but all people saw was the $30,000 Amethyst ring. The ring was so heavy that it had to be set with double prongs to hold the weight of the stone.
Blake Shelton says he isn’t sure if he will ever release another album. In a recent ET interview he says he doesn’t want to put out an album. He feels that his record label will eventually pressure him to put out an album, but as an artist he feels that people don’t listen to albums anymore and he would rather just release singles to be streamed.
Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” spent its 7th week at #1 on the pop chart this week. There was a debate over whether the song was really “country” before Billy Ray Cyrus remixed the song and it took off. Yesterday Lil Nas X showed up announced at Billy Ray’s door and surprised him with a brand new Red Maserati X and the two went for a joyride in Billy Ray’s new car.
Maren Morris graced the cover of Women’s Health Magazine this week. She revealed that she is no longer a cigarette smoker, but she needed to find a new way of relieving stress from anxiety over going on tour. She now uses relaxation methods, therapy and “making amends” with people to relieve her stress. Her husband Ryan Hurd clearly liked the picture on the cover of the magazine because he recently tweeted it out with a caption about how hot his wife is.
Luke Combs has announced on Instagram that he is releasing four additional new song on June 7th. “The Prequel” EP will include those four plus his current single “Beer Never Broke My Heart”
Scary Spice Mel B announced last week that she went blind in her right eye and her left eye was blurry. She went to a hospital and was diagnosed with iritis in her right eye and uveitis in her left eye. The press initially said this was a common occurrence for her due to her “eye herpes” and that she was fine. But she took to social media and blasted that report. She said that it was not a common occurrence for her and it was actually a severe issue and had scared her deeply, but is now under control. She did not address the “eye herpes” part of the story.
