How Did A 6 Year Old Hingham Boy Raise $35,000 For Australian Wildlife?
Ahhh, from the mouths of babes. Or the actions, as in this case. We all can certainly learn from our children. And 6 year old Owen Colley from Hingham, MA has proved that.
Owen created clay koalas to sell and raise money to help save the animals suffering in the massive Australian bush fires. He had set a goat to raise $1000. As of today, this impressive kid has raised more than $35,000!
Needless to say, the little big man has set his sights even higher, now. The new goal is $1 million! I’m thinking if anyone can do it, Owen can. Anyone who donates $50 or more will get one of his hand crafted clay koalas.
Your donation is tax deductible and will go to the Wildlife Rescue South Coast Incorporated, through Owen’s family Go Fund Me Page. Just click HERE.
