Study: Massachusetts Is #1 In Coronavirus Support
While we may be a hotspot for COVID-19, here’s one list that the Bay State should be happy to be at the top of.
According to WalletHub, Massachusetts tops the list of states with the “best support systems to protect at risk populations” from the coronavirus.
The state was at the top of the list for medical services, in second place behind the District of Columbia for food and housing assistance, and #3 in unemployment support, with only Iowa and New Jersey beating us, respectively.
As for the other New England states, Rhode Island came in at #3 overall, Maine at #4, Vermont at #7, Connecticut was #17, and New Hampshire rounded out the upper right hand corner of the country at #37.
