A Mobile Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall is Here
The Mobile Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall is coming to the Boston area, just in time to mark Veterans Day 2022.
As stated on the press release from the International Association of Fire Fighters:
The City of Somerville will host The Moving Wall, a half-sized replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. As part of this historic tour, the Professional fire Fighters of Somerville, Massachusetts Local 76 will read the names of the 34 military service members from Somerville who died in the Vietnam War.
The event portion of this, which took place on Thursday, November 10, included Somerville fire fighters and fire apparatus. If you missed that, don’t worry. The Moving Wall will be on display throughout the weekend following Veterans Day. You can pay a visit and pay your respects from Thursday, November 10 through Monday, November 14.
