Catch Of The Week: Liam Coleman
Meet Liam Coleman from Charlton, MA
It always blows my mind when high school students have so much passion, drive and work ethic to backup a budding music career. You are meeting one of those rare humans today. Liam is just 16 years old, and already is an accomplished musician, having picked up the drums when he was 6 years old. The guitar, ukulele and harmonica followed. As a little kid, he was always singing and dancing around the house with toy drums and guitars. He absorbed all kinds of music from rock, to folk, pop and country.
All these years, all the practicing and all these shows later, Liam has built a shining confidence. Whether it’s taking on songs by some of his heroes, or taking on the task of writing his own, this young man does it with an affection, dedication, and maturity well beyond his years on earth. All this devotion has lead to Liam to his first EP, The Beginning, which he recently released. And, despite the fact that he’s already put in over 10 years, it really is just the beginning for this rising star.

They say you should write about what you know, and for young artists like Coleman that can be difficult, as there are just learning their way through life. But he has seemed to have mastered this, by using his youth to his advantage.
