Has This Massachusetts Eatery Created Your New Favorite Way to Eat Pizza?
Yes, yes it has.
Pizza Cupcakes. Yup. Pizza. Shaped like a cupcake. With your favorite toppings not just on top, but throughout the deep-dish delight.
Pizza cupcakes? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN HIDING?
Actually, this bite-sized twist on a classic dish is right in Newton at 4 Corners Pizza and the brainchild of co-owners Nyk Chatzis and his sister Natasha.
Nyk and Natasha’s family has owned 4 Corners Pizza since 1991.
The two created the savory snacks before the COVID-19 pandemic, but stopped making them when the quarantine hit.
But, in March of 2022, they re-launched the concept and the mini pies are the talk of foodie nation.
And that’s not surprising. A slice is nice, but man, these pizza puffs are heaven-sent.
I MEAN LOOK AT THIS:
“I love food and trying different things but we spent a lot of time making sure these are delicious,” Nyk said. “The concept is you can have a little bit of you want or a variety of flavors.”
Check out all the flavors at your fingertips!
“The thing with these pizza cupcakes, the flavors cook the way they are supposed to,” Nyk said. “And every time you are with friends and you want pizza, you throw out a bunch of flavors and you just end up with cheese to please everyone.
“With these, there’s no compromise.”
And while you can walk in and grab one, catering is available, too. The cupcakes are a hit at parties, weddings and host of other gatherings. People even take them on vacation.
“We had someone take a box to Miami,” Natasha said. “I didn’t know you could take that much food on a plane.”
4 Corners Pizza is open at 1140 Beacon Street on Monday through Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
