Jason Aldean’s First Show Since Las Vegas
Jason Aldean has returned to touring for the first time since the Las Vegas shooting October 1st.
Jason was on stage when a shooter on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel opened fire on the concert crowd at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. “This country can be really divided – that’s really unfortunate to see,” he noted at one point. “It’s been cool to see all the love and support that’s been going on for the last 10 days. If we could do that on a daily basis the world would be a better place.”
Describing people like the shooter, Jason struck a defiant tone. “They’re gonna try to continue to hold us down … make us live in fear and be scared,” he continued. “To those people I say: F*** you, we don’t really care.”
Jason’s tour continues through the end of the month. On November 12th he’ll appear in Nashville at Country Rising, a star-studded music benefit for victims of the recent hurricanes as well as victims of the Las Vegas shooting. See a complete list of dates here.
