Florida Georgia Line On What They Want Fans To Know
The guys of Florida Georgia Line have established themselves as one of music’s most popular duos and they hope to stay that way with a win for Vocal Duo of the Year at the CMAs this week. They’ve matured since their early days, however, and want their fans to understand how.
Part of that has meant a new level of seriousness and creativity in the studio, which can be heard on Dig Your Roots. “We’ve taken the other records obviously serious, but I think this one was just kind of our time to dig back in our arsenal of songs we’ve written and [ask], you know, what do we want to say on this record?” Tyler Hubbard says through the duo’s record label. “What do we want our fans to know? What’s important to us? And now that we have so many eyes watching [and] so many ears listening … and it really is about digging our roots and making sure that the fans know all sides of who BK and I are, you know, and the way we were raised.”
